Maurizio Crispino

Maurizio Crispino is Full Professor of Roads, Railways and Airports at the National Technical University of Milan (Politecnico di Milano) (Italy).
He got a MSc in Civil Engineering in Transport Infrastructures and a Ph.D in Transport Engineering and won numerous grants to study both abroad and in Italy.
His specialist studies and research topics of interest concern design, construction and maintenance of road, railways and airport infrastructures.
He is Chair or Member of different national and international Committees and Working Groups.
From 2001 to 2013 he was Director of the Road Research Laboratory of Polytechnic of Milan. In this role he has coordinated control activities in very important and challenging projects. Now He serves as Scientific Coordinator of such Laboratory.
Up to 2013 he has been Co-ordinator of the Section of Transportation Infrastructures And Geoscience, of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the National Technical University of Milano (Politecnico di Milano).
Prof. Crispino has two classes at the National Technical University of Milan (Politecnico di Milano):
- “Road Design”, Degree in Civil Engineering,
- “Road and Airport Pavements” at Master Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
He was invited as visiting professor in other Universities (such as Monterrey Tech – Mexico).
He was and is still leader of many research projects concerning transport infrastructures (innovative materials and pavements, maintenance and rehabilitation techniques, design methods, new technologies for monitoring roads, etc) specifically in airports as well as in roads and highways.
He has published around 120 papers, at international conferences and journals, concerning innovative materials, construction, design, maintenance and rehabilitation of transport infrastructures. He is co-inventor of 7 patents concerning innovative materials for pavement.

Antonino Vitetta

Nel 1990 ha conseguito la laurea in Ingegneria Civile sezione Trasporti. Nel 1994 ha conseguito il titolo di dottore di ricerca in Ingegneria dei Trasporti. Dal 1994 al 2001 è stato Ricercatore e dal 2001 è Professore Associato presso l’Università Mediterranea degli Studi di Reggio Calabria, Settore Scientifico Disciplinare Trasporti (ICAR05).

Si è interessato di varie problematiche del settore scientifico disciplinare dell’Ingegneria dei Trasporti studiando i seguenti argomenti: modelli e metodi per la progettazione dei sistemi di trasporto; modelli ed algoritmi per la scelta del percorso degli utenti e per l’assegnazione dei flussi alle reti.

È stato responsabile scientifico di unità di ricerca e coordinatore nazionale in Progetti di Ricerca di Interesse Nazionale del MIUR. Ha collaborato nel settore dell’ingegneria dei trasporti per la redazione di studi, linee guida e piani.

Dal 2009 al 2012 è stato vice Direttore del Dipartimento di Informatica, Matematica, Elettronica e Trasporti dell’Università Mediterranea degli Studi di Reggio  Calabria. Nel 2013 è stato coordinatore del Dottorato di Ricerca in Ingegneria dei Trasporti e della Logistica, dell’Università Mediterranea degli Studi di Reggio  Calabria.

Ha partecipato a oltre 100 convegni e seminari scientifici ed ha pubblicato oltre 200 articoli scientifici.
